☀ By day
Run the record shop
Customers wander in, dig through the crates, try a record at the listening post and queue at the till. Keep the crates stocked and the cash coming in.
Coming soon · A game for Android
Resonatrix is a pixel-art game about running a little record shop and DJing in your own basement, built around the music already on your phone. Sell records by day, then head downstairs, mix your own tracks and keep the crowd moving.
The loop
The shop and the basement are joined by a staircase. Walk down it when the shutters close, and walk back up when the night is done.

☾ By night
Head downstairs, step up to the decks and mix two of your own tracks. The crowd grows as the energy builds, the lights follow the bass, and a good night earns you tips.
What’s in the crate
Pick a folder of tracks from your phone and they become the records in the shop and the tunes in your sets. No music is bundled with the game.
Two decks with play, cue and a pitch fader, bass, mid and treble per channel, and a crossfader, all made for fingers. Several fingers work at once.
Each track’s tempo is worked out on your phone, and SYNC lines the second deck up with the first, so the kicks land together.
Dancers arrive as the energy rises and bob to the tempo. Keep the mix tight and they stay; let it clash or stop and they drift away.
Spend your takings on string lights, a neon sign, bigger speakers, a sofa, a strobe, an LED dance floor and pro media decks. Every one changes the room.
Planned: each record’s sleeve becomes a pixel-art version of the artwork in your own file, so your crates look like your collection.
The lights follow the music, but strobes are limited to well under three flashes a second, using the same flash limiter as DropSight.
